Video Transcription
Probably have time for one question for each speaker, if there's any questions. If the first speaker could come up as well, please. For the protocol for non-ICU, for the craniofacial patients, did you have any different protocol for the nursing ratios on the floor? Was it the same ratio you'd have for a standard patient? No, we had the same ratio of nursing for nurses per patient, I believe. That's what they have up there. Just as another model, we've recently gone to that. For the first night, we increase or decrease the ratio, and then as of the next morning, it goes back to standard ratio. One comment on the occipital nerve. It was interesting to note that you had many more girls than boys, which is certainly untypical of most trauma series. Do you have any idea what that was all about? Not sure entirely why, but I think that what we're finding is that concussion is just becoming so widespread, especially in certain sports that are not classically thought of as contact sports, like soccer, for example. I think that's the most popular sport now in females. So I'm not sure if it's a regional thing or what, but I guess that's just how the referral patterns worked. Okay, thank you.
Video Summary
In this video, the speaker asks about the nursing ratios for non-ICU craniofacial patients and if they differ from those for standard patients. The response is that they have the same ratio of nursing per patient. The speaker then comments on the occurrence of more girls than boys with occipital nerve injuries, which is uncommon in trauma cases. The reason for this trend is not entirely clear, but it is suggested that concussion is becoming more widespread, particularly in sports like soccer, which is now popular among females. The video concludes with a thank you.
