Course Description: Lumbar Coding: From Decompression to Instrumentation provides the building blocks necessary to understand and apply basic coding principles for lumbar cases. Beginning with the fundamental approach of diagnosis to the complex application of instrumentation codes, this coding module is ideal for residents learning coding, especially early career neurosurgeons who are beginning to collect and code their cases for American Board of Neurological Surgery (ABNS) case logs.

Target Audience: Residents, Neurosurgeons, and those submitting cases and codes to ABNS.
