Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this CME activity, participants should be able to:

Define the advantages of fetal intervention for spina bifida as compared to standard postnatal repair.
Describe the technical differences between standard post-natal and fetal procedures for repair of myelomeningocele defects.
Describe the anticipated maternal complications associated with open hysterotomy and endoscopic approaches for fetal intervention.
