Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

Baclofen and pain pumps

  1. Describe work up and placement of pumps 
  2. Identify common insertion sites and how to access 

Neurosurgery for movement disorders

  1. Differentiate which movement disorders can be treated with which DBS target.  
  2. Discuss where leads and battery go

Trigeminal Neuralgia

  1. Describe mechanism of TGN 
  2. Discuss medical management of TGN 

Surgical Treatment for Epilepsy

  1. Identify imaging of MTS and surgery options 
  2. Identify indications and placement of VNS
