Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Learning Environment
Overview

Engaging in diversity, equity and inclusion topics is vital for fostering a healthy and person-centered learning environment. DEI influences the quality of experiences and outcomes in the workplace as provider or patient and in the classroom as faculty or learner. Having a firm grasp on these terms is essential for developing effective learning environments. By the end of this course, you will be able to define diversity, equity and inclusion, asses your unconscious bias, and identify ways to create bias-free course materials.  

Criteria for Successful Completion

  • Watch online course material. Approximate time to complete is 60 minutes.
    • Some content contains audio.
  • Achieve a passing score of 70% or higher on post exam
  • Completion/submission of the evaluation form
